Czech economic confidence rose to a 3-month high in September, survey results from the Czech Statistical Office showed Monday.
The economic sentiment index rose to 15.2 in September from 14.7 in August. This was the highest balance in three months.
The survey taken among consumers in September indicated that consumers were for the next twelve months equally afraid of a decrease in the overall economic situation. The corresponding indicator came in at 8.5 versus 7.8 in August.
Likewise, the business confidence index climbed to 16.8 from 16.4 in the previous month. Confidence in industry remained unchanged, while sentiment in construction weakened in September.
