The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence report for September has been published at 10.00 am ET Tuesday. The greenback rose slightly against its major counterparts after the data.
The greenback was trading at 112.87 against the yen, 0.9653 against the franc, 1.1786 against the euro and 1.3153 against the pound around 10:04 am ET.
