At 4:30 am ET Wednesday, UK mortgage approvals data has been released. The pound changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The pound was trading at 1.3165 against the greenback, 0.8943 against the euro, 1.2705 against the franc and 148.57 against the yen around 4:31 am ET.
