Dutch producer confidence continued to ease in September to reach its lowest level in more than a year, survey results from Statistics Netherlands showed Thursday.

The producer confidence index fell to 5.7 in September from 5.9 in August. This was the lowest score since August 2017.

Producer were less positive about the expected activity and their view on order books remained virtually stable.

The number of business leaders who expect their production to increase in coming three months exceed those anticipate a decline in output.
