The U.S. GDP data for the second quarter and weekly jobless claims for the week ended September 22 have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday.
After these reports, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose further against the franc, it changed little against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 112.95 against the yen, 0.9726 against the franc, 1.3152 against the pound and 1.1693 against the euro around 8:32 am ET.
