Sweden's manufacturing activity expanded at a faster pace in September, survey results from Swedbank and the logistics association SLIF showed Monday.
The Purchasing Managers' Index, or PMI, for the manufacturing sector rose to 55.2 in September from 52.5 in August. Any reading above 50 indicates expansion in the sector.
The largest contribution to the rise in PMI total in September came from the sub-index for order intake, employment and supplier delivery times.
The component index for production climbed to 53.7 in September from 52.2 in the preceding month.
