At 8:15 am ET Wednesday, ADP private sector employment data for September is scheduled for release.
Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it climbed against the franc, the euro and the pound.
The greenback was worth 113.83 against the yen, 0.9887 against the franc, 1.1550 against the euro and 1.2993 against the pound as of 8:10 am ET.
