Turkey's current account logged a surplus in August, after showing deficits in the past months, data from the Turkish central bank showed on Thursday.
The current account surplus was $2.59 billion versus a deficit of 41.78 billion in the previous month.
The foreign trade account balance swung to a surplus of $3.34 billion from a deficit of $1.21 billion in July.
The capital account surplus grew to $22 million from $9 million in the previous month. The financial account showed a surplus of $14.35 billion versus a deficit of $1.29 billion in the previous month.
