At 7:30 am ET Thursday, the European Central Bank releases the account of the monetary policy meeting of the Governing Council held in Frankfurt on September 12-13.
Ahead of the release, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro held steady against the franc, the greenback and the pound, it rose against the yen.
The euro was worth 129.97 against the yen, 1.1429 against the franc, 0.8757 against the pound and 1.1574 against the greenback as of 7:25 am ET.
