At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics is set to issue UK labor market statistics. The ILO jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 4 percent in three months to August.
Ahead of the data, the pound advanced against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 147.84 against the yen, 1.3028 against the franc, 1.3188 against the greenback and 0.8789 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
