Following the release of U.K. labor market statistics at 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the pound climbed further against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 148.09 against the yen, 1.3045 against the franc, 1.3199 against the greenback and 0.8779 against the euro around 4:32 am ET.
