Czech retail sales grew at a slower pace in September, the Czech Statistical Office said Monday.
Retail sales, adjusted for calendar effects, increased 2.5 percent year-on-year in September, following August's 4.2 percent rise.
Sales of non-food goods increased 4.8 percent and that of automotive fuel by 3.4 percent. At the same time, sales for food gained only 0.9 percent.
Non-adjusted sales in retail trade grew 1.4 percent from the same period of last year in September.
Month-on-month, retail sales advanced 0.6 percent in September.
