Following the release of the U.S. housing starts data for October at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the greenback changed little against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 1.1418 against the euro, 112.34 against the yen, 1.2843 against the pound and 0.9917 against the franc around 8:31 am ET.
