Following the release of U.K. labor market statistics at 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the pound rose further against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 142.76 against the yen, 1.2455 against the franc, 1.2624 against the greenback and 0.9016 against the euro around 4:32 am ET.
