At 3:30 am ET Friday, IHS Markit has released German preliminary manufacturing PMI for December.
After the data, the euro fell further against its major rivals.
The euro was trading at 1.1330 against the greenback, 128.69 against the yen, 1.1271 against the franc and 0.8998 against the pound around 3:34 am ET.
