After the release of U.S. jobs data for January at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback strengthened against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 108.94 against the yen, 0.9939 against the franc, 1.1461 against the euro and 1.3051 against the pound around 8:31 am ET.
