Following the release of U.K. labor market statistics at 4:30 am ET Tuesday, the pound dropped slightly against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 143.03 against the yen, 0.8758 against the euro, 1.2975 against the franc and 1.2913 against the greenback around 4:35 am ET.
