At 2:00 am ET Wednesday, Destatis will release German producer prices for January. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro retreated against the greenback and the franc, it held steady against the yen and the pound.
The euro was worth 125.61 against the yen, 1.1355 against the franc, 0.8687 against the pound and 1.1334 against the greenback as of 1:55 am ET.
