At 8:30 am ET Wednesday, Canada consumer price index for January has been released. Following the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie changed little against the aussie, it rose slightly against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.3135 against the greenback, 1.4955 against the euro, 0.9403 against the aussie and 84.27 against the yen around 8:35 am ET.
