At 2:00 am ET Thursday, German import price index for January is due. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro held steady against the pound, it dropped against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1374 against the greenback, 126.01 against the yen, 1.1355 against the franc and 0.8551 against the pound as of 1:55 am ET.
