At 2:00 am ET Friday, Destatis will release German retail sales for January. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro fell against the greenback, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 127.06 against the yen, 1.1350 against the franc, 0.8576 against the pound and 1.1364 against the greenback as of 1:55 am ET.
