South Korea's gross domestic product gained a seasonally adjusted 1.0 percent on quarter in the fourth quarter of 2018, the Bank of Korea said on Tuesday - following the 0.6 percent increase in the third quarter.
On a yearly basis, GDP climbed 3.1 percent - accelerating from 2.0 percent in the three months prior.
Real gross national income (real GNI) remained the same as in the previous quarter and added 0.9 percent on year.
For all of 2018, GDP was up 2.7 percent.
