At 8:30 am ET Wednesday, Statistics Canada has released Canada trade data for December. The loonie fell slightly against its major opponents after the data.
The loonie was trading at 83.52 against the yen, 0.9410 against the aussie, 1.5122 against the euro and 1.3384 against the greenback around 8:32 am ET.
