German Ifo business sentiment index for March is due at 5:00 am ET Monday. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro retreated against the pound and the franc, it rose against the yen. Against the greenback, it held steady.
The euro was worth 124.80 against the yen, 1.1239 against the franc, 0.8566 against the pound and 1.1305 against the greenback as of 4:55 am ET.
