After the release of German Ifo business sentiment index for March at 5:00 am ET Monday, the euro inched up against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 124.66 against the yen, 1.1244 against the franc, 0.8564 against the pound and 1.1315 against the greenback around 5:02 am ET.
