At 3:00 am ET Friday, German retail sales and import price index for February are due. Ahead of these data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro rose against the franc and the greenback, it fell against the pound. Against the yen, it held steady.
The euro was worth 1.1235 against the greenback, 124.28 against the yen, 1.1187 against the franc and 0.8590 against the pound as of 2:55 am ET.
