The U.S. personal income and spending data for February are scheduled at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the yen and the franc, it retreated against the euro and the pound.
The greenback was worth 110.74 against the yen, 0.9953 against the franc, 1.1234 against the euro and 1.3099 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
