Following the release of U.K. manufacturing PMI for March at 4:30 am ET Monday, the pound advanced against its major rivals. The pound was trading at 1.3087 against the greenback, 145.35 against the yen, 1.3008 against the franc and 0.8596 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
