After the release of the U.S. retail sales data for February at 8:30 am ET Monday, the greenback dropped against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 1.1241 against the euro, 110.89 against the yen, 0.9945 against the franc and 1.3116 against the pound around 8:33 am ET.
