The Office for National Statistics has released U.K. retail sales for March at 4:30 am ET Thursday.
Following the data, the pound rose slightly against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 145.67 against the yen, 0.8640 against the euro, 1.3157 against the franc and 1.3026 against the greenback around 4:31 am ET.
