Taiwan's unemployment rate fell slightly in Mach, the Directorate General of Budget Accounting & Statistics or DGBAS said on Monday.

The jobless rate dropped marginally to an unadjusted 3.68 percent in March from 3.72 percent in February. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the unemployment rate rose 3.72 percent.

The number of unemployed decreased an adjusted 438,000 from 443,000 in February. At the same time, employment totaled 11.478 million versus 11.473 million a month ago.

Further, data showed that the labor force participation rate came in at 59.06 percent versus 59.07 percent a month ago.
