The U.S. house price index for February will be released at 9:00 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it rose against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 111.93 against the yen, 1.1220 against the euro, 1.2988 against the pound and 1.0213 against the franc as of 8:55 am ET.
