Following the release of German Ifo business climate index for April at 4:00 am ET Wednesday, the euro fell against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 125.18 against the yen, 1.1415 against the franc, 0.8666 against the pound and 1.1199 against the greenback around 4:01 am ET.
