Producer prices in Japan were up 0.3 percent on month in April, the Bank of Japan said on Thursday - unchanged from the previous two months.
On a yearly basis, producer prices climbed 1.2 percent - easing from 1.3 percent in the previous month.
Export prices were up 0.4 percent on month and 0.2 percent on year in April, the central bank said, while import prices climbed 0.5 percent on month and 1.8 percent on year.
On a contract currency basis, export prices were flat on month and import prices rose 0.2 percent on month.
