At 5:00 am ET Friday, Eurozone inflation for April is due. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro held steady against the pound and the franc, it fell against the yen and the greenback.
The euro was worth 122.45 against the yen, 1.1276 against the franc, 0.8741 against the pound and 1.1173 against the greenback as of 4:55 am ET.
