2019.06.0300:37:00UTC+00European Economics Preview: UK Factory PMI Data Due

Purchasing managers' survey from the UK and major European economies are due on Monday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.

At 2.30 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office releases Swiss inflation data. Economists forecast inflation to ease to 0.6 percent in May from 0.7 percent in April.

At 3.00 am ET, PMI survey results are due from Norway, Poland and Turkey. In the meantime, Turkey's consumer prices figures are due. Inflation is seen at 19.2 percent in May versus 19.5 percent in April.

At 3.15 am ET, IHS Markit releases Spain's manufacturing PMI figures. Economists forecast the index to drop to 51.5 in May from 51.8 in April.

At 3.30 am ET, Statistics Sweden publishes retail sales data for April. Sales are forecast to grow 0.6 percent on month after gaining 0.5 percent in March. In the meantime, PMI survey reports are due from the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

At 3.50 am ET, France final PMI data is due. The factory PMI is seen at 50.6 in May, in line with flash estimate.

At 3.55 am ET, Markit publishes Germany's final PMI. The score is expected to match the flash estimate of 44.3 in May.

At 4.00 am ET, Eurozone final manufacturing PMI results are due. The flash score was 47.7.

Half an hour later, IHS Markit releases UK CIPS/Markit factory PMI for May. The factory PMI is expected to drop to 52.0 from 53.1 in April.
