Flash inflation and unemployment figures from euro area are due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 3.30 am ET, Sweden's industrial production data is due for April. Production had decreased 1.3 percent annually in March.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's statistical office Istat releases unemployment data. Economists forecast the jobless rate to rise slightly to 10.3 percent in April from 10.2 percent in March.

Poland's consumer price data is also due at 4.00 am ET. Inflation is seen at 2.4 percent in May versus 2.2 percent in April.

At 4.30 am ET, UK Markit/CIPS construction Purchasing Managers' survey results are due. The construction PMI is forecast to rise marginally to 50.6 in May from 50.5 in April.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat releases euro area flash inflation and unemployment reports. Flash inflation is seen falling to 1.5 percent in May from 1.7 percent in April.

The Eurozone jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 7.7 percent in April.
