Following the release of Canada retail sales for April at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie slipped against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.3202 against the greenback, 81.40 against the yen, 1.4939 against the euro and 0.9116 against the aussie around 8:32 am ET.
