South Korea's consumer confidence fell to a five-month low in June, survey data from Bank of Korea showed on Tuesday.
The consumer sentiment index fell to 97.5 in June from 97.9 in May. A similar lower reading was last seen in January.
Consumers' sentiment regarding the current living standards and their future outlook remained same as in May at 91 and 92, respectively.
Households' confidence on future household income held stable at 97, while that concerning future spending decreased 1 point to 108.
The index measuring current domestic economic conditions and that regarding future domestic economic conditions were unchanged at 69 and 75, respectively.
The expected inflation rate over the following year was 2.1 percent.
The results are based on survey responses from 2,330 households between June 10 and 17.
