Retail sales data from the UK is due on Thursday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 12.30 am ET, the Dutch jobless data for June is due. The unemployment rate stood at 3.3 percent in May.

At 2.00 am ET, the Federal Customs Administration publishes Swiss foreign trade data for June.

At 4.00 am ET, industrial production and producer prices are due from Poland. Economists forecast industrial output to climb 2 percent year-on-year in June after gaining 7.7 percent in May. Producer price inflation is expected to halve to 0.7 percent from 1.4 percent in May.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics publishes UK retail sales for June. Sales including auto fuel are forecast to fall 0.3 percent month-on-month, following a 0.5 percent drop in May.

In the meantime, the Bank of England publishes credit conditions survey data for the second quarter.
