Following the release of UK public sector finance data for June at 4.30 am ET Friday, the pound changed little against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 134.93 against the yen, 1.2530 against the greenback, 0.8983 against the euro and 1.2324 against the franc around 4:33 am ET.
