German preliminary consumer inflation for July has been released at 8:00 am ET Tuesday. The euro changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The euro was trading at 121.02 against the yen, 1.1039 against the franc, 0.9161 against the pound and 1.1153 against the greenback around 8:02 am ET.
