The U.S. GDP data for the second quarter is due at 8.30 am ET Thursday. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts before the data. While the greenback held steady against the franc and the yen, it rose against the euro. Against the pound, it declined.
The greenback was worth 106.34 against the yen, 0.9825 against the franc, 1.2220 against the pound and 1.1074 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
