The Bank of England has published mortgage approvals data for July at 4.30 am ET Friday. The pound changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The pound was trading at 129.56 against the yen, 0.9068 against the euro, 1.2027 against the franc and 1.2175 against the greenback around 4:33 am ET.
