At 8:15 am ET Tuesday, Canada housing starts for August have been released. The loonie changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The loonie was trading at 81.52 against the yen, 1.4539 against the euro, 0.9026 against the aussie and 1.3170 against the greenback around 8:20 am ET.
Canada building permits for July will be released at 8:30 am ET.
