Following the release of Canada consumer price inflation for August at 8:30 am ET Wednesday, the loonie rose against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 1.3255 against the greenback, 81.64 against the yen, 0.9070 against the aussie and 1.4648 against the euro around 8:32 am ET.
