At 8:30 am ET Wednesday, U.S. retail sales for September are due. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback fell against the pound, it held steady against the franc and the euro. Against the yen, it rose.
The greenback was worth 108.78 against the yen, 1.1040 against the euro, 1.2830 against the pound and 0.9974 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
