Canada wholesale sales for August are due from Statistics Canada at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie rose against the yen and the aussie, it was steady against the greenback and the euro.
The loonie was worth 82.87 against the yen, 1.4554 against the euro, 0.8960 against the aussie and 1.3091 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
