Following the release of UK mortgage approvals for September at 5.30 am ET Tuesday, the pound changed little against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 0.8647 against the euro, 1.2816 against the greenback, 139.60 against the yen and 1.2760 against the franc around 5:32 am ET.
