Following the release of Canada GDP data for August at 8:30 am ET Thursday, the loonie fell slightly against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 82.14 against the yen, 0.9090 against the aussie, 1.3165 against the greenback and 1.4691 against the euro around 8:32 am ET.
